After the unfortunate passing of his father back in 1974, Frank Stilley assumed the financial responsibility to support his family, and thus began his venture into roof replacement. These humble beginnings transformed into a highly successful business over the years. Now an authorized distributor and undisputed leader in the local roofing industry, Amstill has come a long way–all the while remaining family owned.

Along with the roofing business, Frank also spent 28 years serving in the Sheriff’s Office. He has since retired with honors, with his final position being Captain. His years in the police force bring to Amstill the qualities that one would expect–integrity, discipline, strength, and honor–and today, he carefully oversees all operations at Amstill Roofing, inspecting the work taking place at different sites, upholding high standards, and ensuring that his customers remain satisfied.

Sam Stilley – Son and Co-Owner

Raised by Frank as a single parent, Sam gained great inspiration from his father. Even at age four, Sam showed interest in following in his father’s footsteps. Though he and his father shared the same passion for the business, Sam took a very different route in his co-ownership.

Rather than jumping directly into the saddle, Sam took to furthering his education. After graduating with honors from the University of Houston’s top-ranked entrepreneurship program as a double major in Entrepreneurship and Marketing, he was ready to start down the road his father paved. Sam took the time and paid his dues by working alongside Amstill Roofing employees, taking in every detail of the roofing repair and replacement process. With hands-on experience, he learned the ins and outs of the business.

Now as a father and son team, Frank and Sam continuously improve the lives of their fellow Texans, and they offer the highest quality roof replacement services found in The Woodlands area.
