The Buda Arts Festival Fine Art Show & Sale is a week-long event designed to bring art lovers, families, and the local community together for a vibrant celebration of creativity. Originally launched in 2020 by the Inspired Minds Art Center, the festival was created to inspire mindfulness and healing through art during a challenging time. Over the years, the event has evolved into a grand 5-day celebration featuring art in various forms, live music, performances, workshops, and more.

The festival’s vision is to foster a deep connection between the artists and the community while showcasing the rich talent of local and regional creators. With diverse activities that cater to both casual art enthusiasts and serious collectors, the event offers something for everyone. • Business of Art Workshop: Artist Contracts: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
  • Workshop led by Jaz Davis on mastering artist contracts. RSVP required.
• Buda Artists Mixer: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Nate’s Coffee and Cocktails
  • A fun networking event for artists, sponsored by the City of Buda Arts Commission.

Thursday, September 19

• Live Art – En Plein Air: All day

• Business of Art Workshop: Elevate Your Art Career: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
  • A workshop with Ash Almonte on how to take your art career to the next level. RSVP required.
• Filmmaker Screening: “Dance Hall Days”: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at The Chambers Theatre

  • Enjoy busking musicians performing throughout downtown Buda.
• Festival Fine Art Show & Sale: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Vote for your favorite piece in the People’s Choice Award until 4:00 PM.
• Artist Demonstrations: Throughout the day
  • Watch artists demonstrate pottery, mural painting, cartooning, and more at Inspired Minds Art Center.
• Community Drum Circle: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM at Downtown Buda Greenbelt & Gazebo
  • Join the community for a rhythmic drum circle open to all ages and abilities.

Plein Air & Quick Draw Competitions

• Plein Air Competition Judging: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM (Artwork drop-off)
  • Judging from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Closed to public).
• Quick Draw Competition: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Watch artists create stunning works in just two hours along Main Street.
